Yesterday we made it to our last stop in Italy – Florence. We are here for 4 days and as our luck would have it the temperature has just reached the high 80s and will climb into the 90s before we leave. It’s a little too warm for my liking, but we are making the best of it trying to get out early in the day and in the evening. For much of our trip, we booked apartments using either VRBO.com or AirBnB.com. In Florence, we were lucky to find a nice apartment using Airbnb, 6 floors up with a nice little terrace. This is our view of the old and the new. It’s such an interesting composition of chaos with the rooftops and all of the antennas needed to support all of our modern technology and communications.
